Brenton Huffaker, Founder
Brenton's journey began with an academic foundation at Lakeland Senior High School, where he completed his secondary education in 2008. Following this, he pursued further education at Polk State College, where he obtained an Associate's degree in Business Administration, laying the groundwork for his professional endeavors.
In 2011, Brenton embarked on his career path at Neel Aviation, marking the commencement of his hands-on experience in the aviation industry. His tenure at Neel Aviation was pivotal, as it provided him with the opportunity to immerse himself in the practical aspects of aircraft maintenance. While working at Neel Aviation, Brenton diligently logged thousands of hours of Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) Time, honing his skills and expertise in the field.
His dedication and hard work eventually paid off when he surpassed the 6,000-hour milestone, earning eligibility to undertake the General, Airframe, and Powerplant tests. Brenton has solidified his position in the industry, by obtaining an Airframe & PowerPlant License. These certifications represent significant achievements in the aviation industry, demonstrating Brenton's proficiency in aircraft maintenance and repair.
In 2017, fueled by his passion for aviation and entrepreneurial spirit, Brenton took a leap of faith and founded Aerocommerce LLC. This venture showcases his ambition and commitment to making a mark in the aviation industry as a business owner and operator.
Despite branching out to establish Aerocommerce LLC in 2017, Brenton continues to maintain his position at Neel Aviation. This dual commitment reflects his dedication to both his established role within the company and his entrepreneurial aspirations with Aerocommerce LLC.
Brenton remains grounded in his personal life. He continues to reside in his hometown of Lakeland, FL, alongside his wife, Sophia, and their beloved chocolate lab, Scout. Scout, fondly referred to as the "Airport Bum," is a constant companion to Brenton, accompanying him to work daily and adding a touch of warmth and companionship to his professional endeavors.
